NANOTECHNOLOGY IN CIVIL ENGINEERING

Initial situation

The municipality of Kiefersfelden has planned the construction of a motorhome parking lot at Bahnhofstrasse for the touristic enhancement of the village. In order to create a perfect and stable substructure, the municipality of Kiefersfelden decided to use soil stabilisation with Nanoalps System Soil as an alternative to a complex and costly soil replacement.

The reasons include:

  • Achievement of the required load capacities
  • Improvement of the eco-balance as the number of transports is significantly reduced
  • Savings in the disposal of contaminated soil
  • Cost reduction
